So it seems someone found an a easy way to do this, i have not tried this so feel free to try this yourself Wot_85.259482_ content_en.patch (15.4MB)-there is only one of this type of file (in my installer)Īfter that i coped wot_86.2738_85.2530_client.patch (797MB) patch i manually downloaded when it was released to my World of tank update folder Eg:C:\Program Files\World of Tanks\Updates and i run the WOTLauncher.exe and it downloaded few 5MB or so and the game updated to the 8.6 version Why did i put 85.2490 instead 85.2489 because it is the correct highest version that is installed right now ![]() Now rename the "unknown" field in both fields to your patch files version and save it !!Įg: unknown is wot_85.2490_85.2489_client.patch (3.16GB) so it should be 85.2490 Wot_85.2490_85.2489_client.patch (3.16GB)ġ)ok now first open the wot_85.2489_client.patch in Win RAR and extract them to your World of tank folder Eg:C:\Program Files\World of TanksĢ)now do the same for the wot_85.2490_85.2489_client.patch and wot_85.259482_content_en.patchģ)now open your WoTLauncher.cfg file located in C:\Program Files\World of Tanks in notepad YES DO IT !!!! ![]() HI i downloaded the " WoT_0.8.5_sea_install" when it was released and i install it and played and then the update 8.6 came and i download it manually and installed it too, but i had to format my computer for a reason and when now i try to install and update "WoT_0.8.5_sea_install" it install and it copy those update files to the update folder too but it does not update the game instead it try to download the whole 8.6 update or game(5GB) i don't wont to download the whole game again i have bandwidth limit so this is the fix i found for it
